Goals, vision and mission

Our vision is More New Zealanders winning on the world stage at Olympic and Paralympic Games and world championships in targeted sports.

Our mission is to create a world-leading, sustainable high performance sport system.

Our target is to win 14 or more medals at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and 8-12 gold medals at the 2016 Paralympic Games, and win at world championships in targeted non-Olympic sports.
